about

“Suffering” was first released on the fourth installment of “It Came From Connecticut,” a Bonehead Studios production. Based on Kevin McDonald’s nosebleeder and dedicated with love to the Kids in the Hall.

lyrics

Kid caught me on my launch / I said “I’m not ashamed” to anyone. Then you got me so mixed up I sat with you until we missed our only luck. We’re still under the sky.

Suffering like we do is so unnecessary;
You know you have the right to suffer, fool.

Kids caught me on my lunch / I said, “I won’t bleed out for anyone.” Let them got me so messed up that I’m cursed to show the flood.

Suffering like we do is so unnecessary;
You know you have the right to suffer, fool.

Bent around the pole and when the center gets too hollow, you give me what I want but not what I can swallow. You send me around the world with a blanket and a bottle. You give me what I want but not what I can swallow. Now everyone’s beside me in a house that lasts forever: it’s all the same, it’s all the same.

Suffering like we do is so unnecessary;
You know you have the right to suffer, fool.
Suffering like we do is so unnecessary and
You only have the right to suffer you.
